EAST COAST COMMERCIAL DIVING & PETROLEUM SERVICE employees have vast experience in underwater inspection and NDT operations. We have undertaken inspection programs, onshore and offshore, on a small and large scale. ECDP have CSWIP, IMCA and Lloyd’s qualified divers ``in house``. We are equipped to carry out all types of underwater and confined space inspection project as we own an inspection ROV, underwater video systems and underwater stills photography cameras. Our divers are trained in the inspection techniques required for:

EAST COAST COMMERCIAL DIVING & PETROLEUM SERVICES can perform quality hull cleaning night or day to assure maximum vessel performance. All hull cleanings may be accompanied with before and after digital photography complete with written reports upon request.

EAST have the personnel, equipment and expertise to take care of all ship maintenance requirements. Our divers are trained to identify and report hull conditions such as paint blistering, corrosion, fouling and superficial propellers, exposed shafting and rudders.

We can provide a comprehensive hull survey report for shipping companies and for ship Classification Societies as we are certified to perform class survey for Lloyd’s Register, Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Bureau Veritsas (BV) , Rina and American Bureau of shipping (ABS) and have carried out inspection to the specifications required.

All discrepancies are recorded on tape and provided to the client with a written report upon request. Underwater color CCTV or video camcorder services are available for hull inspections if requested. Our equipment and expertise has a wide range of applications in a wide range of circumstances not at first associated with diving.
